V2008 Review: Southampton boys fit the bill

Delays slot neatly onto the indie heavy Sunday line-up at 4music. I’m not a big fan of the albums, I’m here because Liam Fray is somewhere nearby, but have to admit that live they’re slightly more impressive.

Surprisingly sparse crowd for the much publicised South Coasters, those that are here are lapping it up, however. Maybe everyone’s buying beer so they’ve got something to throw when The Courteeners get here.

Oh, and the guy at the bar tells me you can’t have the lid on your water, “cos it does more damage when you throw it at someone with the lid on.” Sounds like nonsense to me, but there you go.
